Horizen Technology Software ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Details you give us in the order form or the chat: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and what you need from us.
- The messages you type into our AI sales chat.
- Basic technical information our hosting provider records automatically, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure.
Why we use it
- To answer your questions, prepare quotes and deliver the services you order.
- To contact you about your order by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we only send you marketing if you ask for it.
Who processes it for us
- Netlify hosts this website and stores order form submissions.
- Anthropic provides the AI model behind our sales chat. Chat messages are sent to it to generate replies.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.
Some of these providers store information outside South Africa. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to POPIA.
How long we keep it
We keep order and contact details for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and tax obligations, and then delete them.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
